BANNER USERS’ GROUP - FINANCE (BUG-F)

A Banner Finance Implementation Team has been established to oversee operations of the Banner Finance Module for all state operations of the university including MU, MUGC, MUSOM, and MUCTC but excluding MU Foundation and MU Research Corporation.  The Banner Finance module encompasses all business operations of the university including operating budgets, purchasing, receiving, accounts payable, fixed assets, and general ledger operations of the university.

Once this module has successfully completed one full business cycle it is anticipated that a user’s group will be established to oversee the continued operation of this module.  

The Banner Finance Implementation Team meets the first Wednesday of the month at 2:00p.m. in Old Main 230.  Subcommittees review various areas of Finance operations.

GOVERNANCE OF THE BANNER USERS' GROUPS

The Banner Oversight Committee has compiled a POLICIES AND PROCEDURES Manual for use by all of the Banner Users' Groups.  Procedures for the Resolution of Multiple ID/PIDM Problems and the Recommendation of the Sub-committee on Multiple ID/PIDMs approved by the BOC in May 2002.

The history of the Banner Users' Group-Student is documented in the BANNER USERS' GROUP HISTORY, DEVELOPMENT, AND OVERSIGHT document.

The Banner Oversight Committee developed a formal Change Assessment Form to be used for all change requests that affect the Banner application components.
