Pharmacological Research Directives

Presently within the Basic Science Division of the Center For Diagnostic Nanosystems we are engaged in various animal based pharmacological research projects. The Center for Diagnostic Nanosystems has a strong track record of attracting research contracts from various pharmaceutical companies. We are well equipped at utilizing the various rodent models of aging, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, an cancer to assess a wide range of potential pharmaceutical interventions.

Currently we are investigating a pharmaceutical compound XXX and its effects on insulin resistance.

Because of the contractual nature of some of this research we are unable to provide detailed descriptions of the ongoing work.

There is a strong research component within the center which is focusing on off-label usage of existing pharmaceutics as well as producing nano-particles of existing compounds to improve their bioavailability and efficacy.
