A: Yes you can. The Career Services Center is here to help students, alumni, faculty/staff, and employers.
A: Students, alumni, faculty and employers can register for Jobtrax online from our Web site, www.marshall.edu/career-services. Once registered, fill out appropriate profile information and upload documents such as resumes and cover letters. If you experience any difficulty registering for JobTrax you can stop by the office for assistance or call 304-696-2370.
A: Appointments are recommended, but the Career Services Center is open to walk-ins as well.
A: Yes, you can have access to that file for 5 years. You can also continue to add information to this file. Another good idea is to set up an account on JobTrax and use the document section to store not only your resume and cover letters but to store letters of reference, copies of certificates and other accomplishments you want to keep in one place.
A: As long as current students are not using the computers in our area you can use them if you are alumni.
A: Yes, as alumni you can attend events and even interview, however we must serve our current students first. Check the website for updated information.
A: The Marshall University Career Services Center is located on the corner of 5th Ave. and 17th Street across from the Christian Center and Harless Cafeteria.
A: In addition to JobTrax postings, Career Services hosts Career Expos throughout the year that students, alumni, and employers attend. Employers that attend these expos are regularly looking for future employees. For more information on Career Expos, visit our Career Expos page.
