Exploring Engineering:
Academy of Excellence
2009
The Exploring Engineering: Academy of Excellence is a week-long, hands-on camp during which high school students have the chance to experience campus life while learning more about the engineering profession. Participants are instructed by professors from Marshall University’s College of Information Technology and Engineering, and are housed with 24-hour supervision in the Marshall University Commons Residence Halls. If you are curious about what engineers do and whether a future in engineering is right for you, this is the place for you!

“The engineering academy at Marshall University was a wonderful experience. I got to see engineering in the real world during the camp, how it worked, and who it helped. It helped me choose a career in engineering.”
