November 14, 1970 ... Remembered

Ed Deeds played on the 1969 football squad, but in 1970 he decided at the last moment to return to Virginia Western Community College, because his wife was going to have a baby. He returned to Marshall in 1971 and went out for football, but abandoned the idea after a few weeks.
