SpRING 2005

WELCOME BACK.  pLEASE CHECK BACK FOR UPCOMING EVENTS!!!

Hey guys!  I hope everyone's semester has started off well

Our next meeting will be Wednesday, February 16th at 6 p.m. JH 236.

Our guest speaker will be Major Simms, a Special Education Technology Specialist for Putnam County.  He will be demonstrating programs that will aid classroom teachers.  One such program is called RIDE.  I will place free demo cd's of this program on the table outside of the Special Education offices.  Look for these demos some time mid week.  (I only have a limited number.)

Hope to see everyone there!

The Scec is selling scrumptious chocolate bars for only $1.00.  Check with any scec member or stop by the special ed. office in jenkins hall, or the lrc (room 101).

CEC is hosting its National Convention in Baltimore, MD on April 6-9 this year.  Since Baltimore is fairly close, SCEC will be fundraising in order to send people to the convention.  If you are interested in going, please email Megan Stevens at mcst108@yahoo.com.  I can send you more information on the conference, or you can go to http://www.cec.sped.org/conventions/maryland_2005/
