Counseling Services

Marshall University’s Counseling Center is here to provide you the opportunity to speak with a professional counselor in a private setting.

The Counseling Center is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and can help with a number of different issues, including, but not limited to:

  • Personal Counseling
  • Sexual Assault and Abuse
  • Substance Abuse
  • Stress Management
  • Time Management
  • Mental Illness

Counseling appointments can be made by calling 304-696-3111. In addition to appointments, walk-ins are welcome at the Counseling Center Monday-Friday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis so making an appointment is advised.

For emergencies, a Marshall University Counseling Center staff member is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. During regular work hours, they can be reached at 304-696-3111 or outside of office hours at 304-696-4357.
