How
active are you with the Marshall Alumni Association? How active
do you want to be…?
We want you to be a part of the
tradition and the mission of Marshall University. Tradition plus
mission equal the future success of our great university.
Our alumni are what make us proud
of our past, and our students give us a glimpse into our future.
We need for our alumni to communicate to us what we can do to
provide the connection to our university. We need our alumni to
lead us into the future with their cooperation and support.
It has been a busy year for our
association. We have personally visited with more than 18 clubs
in 2007-2008. We have new clubs forming and older clubs being
re-energized. Just this month, we have elections being held in
Parkersburg, W.Va., with the Mid-Ohio Valley Club and in
Columbus, Ohio, with the Central Ohio Club. We just finished a
tour of three cities in Florida and a stop in Houston, Texas. We
also have plans for another visit to Florida clubs in Orlando
and Jacksonville this spring, as well as great plans with our
Cincinnati, Ohio, and Atlanta, Ga., clubs.
We want to know how we can help
you, and we want to let you know how fun and exciting it is to
be an integral part of our association. Go online, visit
our club page, and find a club near you. And, feel free to
contact us if you would like to start a club or game watching
group in your area. Get involved, have fun, find old friends,
make new friends – be a part of our university and our
association.
Sincerely,
Tish Littlehales
