The Linda Holmes Alumni Association Club Scholarship
Applications are being accepted for the Marshall University Alumni Association Club Scholarship in Honor of Linda S. Holmes, Director 1984–1998. In honor of the outstanding service Linda Holmes provided for many years as executive director, the MUAA board of directors established a scholarship for entering freshman at Marshall university. According to the guidelines, the recipient shall be an entering, full-time freshman with demonstrated financial need and a minimum high school GPA of 2.5. First priority shall be given to applicants from those areas where alumni clubs made a gift to the scholarship and who have one parent who is/was an alumnus/alumna of Marshall University. The scholarship may be renewed for up to a total award of 4 years (8 semesters) pending satisfactory academic progress and full-time status.
