
Marshall Day at the Legislature 2006
Marshall University
will celebrate its annual Marshall Day at the Legislature
on
Tuesday, January 31, in the upper rotunda of the Capitol in Charleston.
Marshall Day, sponsored by the MU
Alumni Association, gives the public the opportunity to get an overview of MU’s
programs, colleges and activities. There will be booths and displays at the Capitol to promote
Marshall programs and colleges.
Alumni, friends and legislators
are encouraged to wear green to show their support.
Special
events:
Dr. Zach
Hansen, Class of 2004, will be the Doc of the Day.
Marshall
students will be recognized by the House of Delegates and the
Senate.
A giant cake
will celebrate the 205th Anniversary of John Marshall's
appointment as Chief Justice of the United States.
Musical
interludes will be orchestrated by Marshall students,
President
Stephen Kopp will unveil Marshall's Strategic Vision.
