Fountain to be rededicated
April 9
The Herald-Dispatch, March 16, 2008
The
Memorial Fountain will be rededicated and turned on once again
at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, at the student center plaza.
The rededication will take place because the
fountain was removed from its base for the first time in its
existence on January 24 so repairs could be made to the
foundation.
The fountain honors the 75 Marshall students,
coaches and members of the community who were killed in the 1970
plane crash returning to Huntington from Greenville, N.C.
