"Through these gifts, and
other benefactor scholarships such as the Maj. Gen. James Hylton Scholarship
and the 2nd Lt. Honaker Memorial Scholarship, the ROTC is able
to provide appropriate rewards to our superb cadets," said Samek. "Additionally,
numerous donations to the university designated to the ROTC
Thundering Herd Battalion Fund assist the program in providing
morale support activities. Friends and alumni of the ROTC
program continue to assist in our mission to attract, train and
commission young men and women of character to be officers in
the Army."
