Hello! My name is Becky Fisher and I am a Marshall student and the co-event chair for Marshall's second annual Relay for Life!
This year our second annual “Herding Towards Hope” Relay for Life will be held on April 7, 2006, and we have set a goal of raising at least $20,000. We would like to invite everyone to come out to this event, which will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 7, and last until 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 8. The event will take place on the Lefty Rollins Track.
WVU is also holding their Relay for Life on April 7. We raised more money than them last year at the Relay for Life, and we have engaged in some friendly competition with our friends up north to see who can raise the most money towards reaching our shared goal of finding a cure for cancer. Help us beat WVU again this year and beat cancer by donating money to the American Cancer Society!
Donations can be made online by visiting www.acsevents.org/marshalluniversity. Once there, you can find the team you wish to donate to (my team is Team Becky) and use your credit or debit card to complete the transaction. If you would like to mail in a check, you may do so by mailing it to:

Please do not forget to let us know if you would like your donations to be in memory or in honor of someone who has lost the battle to cancer, is currently fighting cancer, or is a cancer survivor, and a luminary will be lit in their name at our Relay.
