Ana Menendez ('94) of
Milwaukee, Wis., at the entrance of Mount Rushmore in Keystone,
S.D., in August 2006. Her brother, Paul, is not a Marshall grad,
but he is a big Herd fan.
"The other picture is of a bison
we came across that same day near Jewel Cave in Custer. My
brother and I were both wearing Marshall gear, so we think one
of Marco's relatives came on over to say hello."

From Kerri M. Barnhart ('97) of Raleigh,
N.C.: Last June the Carolina Hurricanes won the
Stanley Cup, considered to be the hardest trophy to
win. After the Cup made its way around North
Carolina and the world, it came back to Raleigh for
a few days, including a day for boosters to have
their picture taken with it. I had to show my love
for my two favorite teams, especially since it was
just a week before We Are Marshall opened, so
I took in my car flag.
