	This photo and the one below were taken by Thomas A. Damron '55 on Jan. 12, 2006, in Palm Springs, Calif. "We have a Villa in Rancho Mirage, in the center of the Coachella Valley."   The "Windfarms" photo was taken in the windfarms made famous in a number of movies and TV shows. These windmills stretch for several miles along Interstate 10 through the Coachella Valley as you head toward Los Angeles.
	The "Tram" picture was taken on Mount San Jacinto where the cable car takes you, in 10 minutes, from the desert to a lush and snow covered forest 8,516 feet above the valley. The cable car rotates 360 degrees as it rises up the mountain giving an unbelievable view of the valley and the windfarms.   "I was stopped several times in downtown Palm Springs by visitors commenting on Marshall and its recent football successes."   Thomas lives in Plano, Texas.
