Dear
alumni and friends,
It
has been a sincere pleasure over the last four years to work
with the Marshall University Alumni Association. The staff,
board of directors, club presidents and numerous volunteers
are all truly devoted to the mission of the institution and
passionate to see Marshall grow and prosper in all areas. We
are very fortunate to have so many Marshall alumni and
friends spread all over this world and wanting to serve as
advocates for MUAA.
And,
I am
pleased to see Tish Littlehales become the new alumni
director at Marshall. (Please see the second story in this
newsletter.) She has great passion for the university and is
proud to be alumni herself.
With the
release of We are Marshall and the name "Marshall"
becoming more of a household word, the MUAA is poised to do
great things in the future. Friendraising, fundraising,
student recruitment and communicating the Marshall message
continue to be on the national stage and great things are in store
for the “Green and White.”
I am so
proud to be a Marshall alumnus and to have worked directly
with so many alumni and friends of the university. I look
forward to continuing this relationship as vice president
for major gifts. Marshall is a special place with special
people. With everyone getting involved and doing a little,
big things can and will happen.
Thank
you for your time, talents and treasures. We truly
appreciate it and your involvement does not go unnoticed.
The West family wish you all the best in 2007!
Lance A. West

Vice President for Major
Gifts
