Erickson Alumni Center Society
Members
The Erickson Alumni Center Society was
established in 1991 when the Alumni Association physically moved
from the Memorial Student Center to its present location at 1731
Fifth Ave. At that time Charles O. Erickson provided a significant
gift enabling Marshall University to purchase the Kincaid-Mann
Mortuary and convert the structure into its current
Alumni/Development operation headquarters. All individuals,
corporations or foundations that make a contribution directly
benefiting the construction of the new Erickson Alumni Center will
receive membership into this society with full honors. All
contributors will receive the following: a thank you from the
president of the Alumni Association; a donor lapel pin; and permanent donor recognition in the
new facility at the appropriate levels.
On April 25th, 2003, in conjunction with Alumni Weekend, a champagne
reception entitled "Putting On The Bricks" was held in honor of all
who have given to the Erickson Alumni Center
Campaign. Our guest of honor was the namesake's son, Mr. Charles
F. Erickson, and after very inspiring remarks to the audience,
Charles presented each donor with his or her lapel pin. It was a
wonderful event, and fun was had by all. Attached is a list of all
current society members. We would like to add your name to our members list
if it is not already there. Check for it
here.
