Prior to the game with Georgia the Atlanta Club of the Marshall University Alumni Association held a pre-game party at the Foundry Park Inn in Athens, Ga.

The gathering was made possible through the efforts of the Atlanta Club in conjunction with the generosity of the Marshall University Bookstore.

The Marshall Bookstore, in addition to serving as a sponsor of the event, was on hand with tables full of Marshall merchandise for the discerning Herd fan, and a hard-working staff to man those tables.
