The Marshall University ARSI Teacher Partners kicked the new school year off with an inquiry lesson presented by Teacher Partners Jo Hendricks and Nancy Booth. The lesson was part of an integrated science and mathematics activity Jo and Nancy had developed. Jo and Nancy were also hosts for the meeting held at Scott High School.
 
 
 

Donna is in charge of reading the recipe as Carolyn and Karen set up the ice cream maker.
Jo explains the use of the CBL (calculator based lab) to Karen and Carolyn.
Is it ice cream yet? Susan and Melissa ask Danny.
While their ice cream "makes" Nancy discusses real world applications of the principle of lowering the freezing point.
