April 2003
The April 14, 2003 Teacher Partner meeting was held in the Shawkey Dining Room, at Marshall
University's Student Center. Colleen
Wallace, the University of Tennessee's ARSI Educational Consultant, was our presenter
and the training was on developing greater presentation skills.
We had a couple of friends from Lincoln County and Karen Lucas, from the
Reinventing Education III office with us for this event. Colleen gave us
some very helpful hints and techniques to share with other teachers within our
schools. Thank you, Colleen, for a very informative and empowering
session!

Colleen carefully prepares for the meeting before the participants arrive.
She is determined to give a very effective training so that our Teacher Partners
can get the most out of it! |
 |
Colleen in action! You know she's getting down to business when she puts
her apron on!!! She's cooking up something good for our TP's! |
 |
Carter is discussing techniques he has used in the classroom and during
presentations. Or is he describing the size of the fish that he caught
last weekend??? |
 |
These ladies listen intently and take notes so that they don't miss a thing!
Jo wasn't ready for this shot, huh? |
 |
Mark Buchanan thought he was the only one with a camera at this meeting!
Gotcha, Mark!! |
 |
Colleen gets us all involved in the activities at hand. |
 |
Colleen must be checking to see if the boys have done their homework!! |
 |
Relieve that tension, people!! Susan should've been behind Danny Dailey
because she could've really helped him relieve his tension about her being the
Queen!! |
 |
What's with the head's up, Karen? Get that head down!! Get with the
program! |
