February  2003

The February 10, 2003 Teacher Partner meeting was held in the Marshall University Student Center, Room #2W37.  Al Cote, Director of Ohio University's ARSI, presented Question Strategies/ Problem Solving In Math. Al's power-packed session gave our Teacher Partners new tools and goals to get more accomplished in teaching math to our students.

Mark looks enthusiastic about this part of the training!
Natalie is seriously considering the task at hand and is determined to work it through.
"Hey Nancy, I didn't know we were going to go over this so in-depth.  I'll have to take better notes to get it all in!"
Our friends from Project MERIT were able to be with us for this meeting.  Welcome, fellow teachers and learners!
Jo is about to raise her hand to answer the question that has a nice door prize given for the right answer!
Carter and Al explain a new technique to the group.
No one looks concerned that lunch is in 10 minutes!
Al is determined to give our group the full effect of his training so that they will all receive something to empower and enhance their learning and skills.
We had a surprise baby shower for Natalie at the end of this meeting.  Hey, that makes us 5 Teacher Partners plus one!
MU ARSI welcomes baby Derrick!
Just a few presents for our new Teacher Partner, Jr!
