The November MU ARSI Teacher Partner meeting returned to the topic of alternative assessment which was the focus on the Summer Academy. Teacher Partners had written and administered assessments to their students. They brought the assessments plus student work samples for critique.
Dr. Jane Hange, from Appalachia Education Laboratory, followed up her Summer Academy presentation at this meeting. Teacher Partners took the lessons and strategies of the Summer Academy and applied them to their own classrooms to develop alternative assessments.
