Intelligent Transportation Systems using LEGO Robotics

Intelligent Transportation System using LEGO Robotics program, coordinated by Linda Hamilton, explores traffic control, traffic monitoring, intelligent vehicles, and city planning. 

SENSORSCITY, is a site to learn about remote sensing     for city transportation by hands on projects and teleoperation.

LEGO Robotics City is a site where students learn the concepts of tele-operation in order to remotely control the LEGO Robotics City at RTI Headquarters.

The Nick J. Rahall, II, Appalachian Transportation Institute will partner with the Cabell county public Libraries to incorporate RTI’s LEGO Robotics program into the library summer reading program titled “FAIRY TALES.” Mrs. Linda Hamilton and Juan Beuno will travel to the eight library branches to deliver the program. To register for the various locations call the library youth services desk at (304) 528-5700 extension 141.
