Banner Freezing
While running in GUI (Graphical User
Interface) mode, you may experience being "frozen". Your
session is locked. There is no warning and no way to recover.
If you are working in a form, it may simply refuse to respond. You will
need to end this session by pressing [Ctrl]-[Alt]-[Delete] (at the same
time), then click on the end task button in the 2 Windows dialog
boxes that will follow.
If you are at the menu screen, it may react by simply ignoring any attempt
to navigate to a form. It may be possible from here to click the exit
button, but you will probably have to press [Ctrl]-[Alt]-[Delete] and end
task.
If you receive an F45 Runtime Error, end
all tasks and reboot your PC. However, this error represents a
memory error that needs to be cleaned. Contact the University
Computing Services Help Desk at (304) 696-3200 for additional information.
