Black Alumni Welcomes Latest Lifetime Members
We welcome and congratulate the latest lifetime members of the Marshall University Black Alumni, Inc., Teresa Green and Karen Price Williams.  Teresa and Karen became lifetime members during the Homecoming 2003 weekend.  Teresa and Karen are great role models and leaders within their respective communities.  Teresa and Karen are demonstrating their support for MU Black Alumni, Inc. by joining the ever growing list of Marshall University Black Alumni, Inc. lifetime members.    

A lifetime member is one who contributes $500 or more.  It was established when the organization began in 1978 as seed money.  Those who are lifetime members do not have to pay annual dues ($15).  Also they are recognized at the annual homecoming.

The following are guidelines for becoming a lifetime member:

  • A donation of $500 or more.

  • Members may give toward the lifetime membership in payments of $50 or more.

  • Contributions of $50 or more to previous Fund Raising Campaigns during the 2000 - 2003 time period.  

  • Contributions to the new Marshall University Black Alumni Legacy Initiative campaign also count toward the lifetime membership.

Congratulations and thank you to all of the Lifetime Members.  Their contributions to scholarship will help perpetuate the legacy of Black Alumni.  MU Black Alumni would also like to thank it's Green Pin Legacy Members for their contributions to MU Black Alumni scholarship efforts.
