Refund Schedule

Please note that refunds for schedule adjustments, withdrawals, etc. take approximately 3 weeks to process.  Financial aid recipients must have their accounts reviewed and approved by the Office of Student Financial Assistance before a refund may be issued.  In some instances, monies may have to be returned to the funding source.

Intersession

100% refund Mar 30  – May 10
90% refund May 11 – May 12
75% refund May 13 – May 15
50% refund May 16 – May 22

Summer I

100% refund Mar 30  – May 17
90% refund May 18 – May 26
75% refund May 27 – June 8
50% refund June 9 – June 26

Summer II

100% refund Mar 30  – June 7
90% refund June 8 – June 10
75% refund June 11 – June 15
50% refund June 16 – June 23

Summer III

100% refund Mar 30  – July 13

Students Receiving Financial Assistance:
Students receiving financial assistance covered by Title IV of the 1992 Higher Education Act, who officially shall receive a refund in accordance with the Higher Education Amendments of 1998. Marshall University will determine how much Title IV aid a student has received and not earned at the time of total withdrawal. The amount of aid earned is calculated on a prorated basis through 60% of the payment period.
