Graduation Requirements for Honors



Students who wish to graduate in University Honors must maintain a cumulative 3.30 GPA in all courses and a cumulative 3.30 GPA in honors courses. To be eligible for early registration, students must show substantial progress each year towards meeting the graduation requirement of 24 semester hours of honors course-credit. Among the required courses are:

HON 101 (1 hr.) 1 hour
Three Seminars (4 hours)12 hours
Choose any combination of: Department Honors Courses, Reading for Honors, Independent Study in Honors (HON 485-487) or H-Option Courses11 hours
Total credits required for graduation in Honors:24 hours
