Keynote speaker: Dr. E. O. Wilson

Dr. Edward Osborne Wilson, in 1995 named one of the 25 Most Influential People in America by Time Magazine, has been called "the father of sociobiology."  A two-time Pulitzer Award-winning author, Dr. Wilson earned his Ph.D. from Harvard University, where he now serves as the Pellegrino Research Professor in Entomology for the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology.  His speech, "The Future of Life," explained the necessity of environmental caution and care.  A controversial and prominent scholar, Dr. Wilson is also an entomologist and naturalist.
