not required to watch the event on a large screen in the Booth
Experimental Theater.

Keynote
speaker: Dr. E. O. Wilson
Dr. Edward Osborne Wilson, in 1995
named one of the 25 Most Influential People in America by Time
Magazine, has been called "the father of sociobiology." A
two-time Pulitzer Award-winning author, Dr. Wilson earned his Ph.D.
from Harvard University, where he now serves as the Pellegrino
Research Professor in Entomology for the Department of Organismic
and Evolutionary Biology. His speech, "The Future of Life,"
explained the necessity of environmental caution and care. A
controversial and prominent scholar, Dr. Wilson is also an
entomologist and naturalist.
