Welcome to the Marshall University Honors College website. Open in fall 2010, we are the newest college on campus, though we are building on a longstanding honors program here. Currently there are 600 undergraduate students in the College.

Honors education serves as strong evidence that an institution of higher learning puts academic excellence at the center of its mission. The essence of honors education consists of putting talented faculty and gifted students in touch with one another.

We invite you to browse our site. Any questions you might have after doing so can be sent to honorscollege@marshall.edu. A university's priority is helping students learn. The Honors College does that by offering students not only challenge and support but the opportunity to be part of an engaging honors community, a college within a college.

Our vision for the future involves continued growth of the honors community at Marshall, creation of a Faculty Fellows program, and possibilities we haven't even dreamed of yet.
