Career Planning
Career planning can be a difficult task but our staff is trained to assist you in this great endeavor. If you have questions, please make an appointment with one of our counselors.
Career Services recommends that all students at Marshall have the following upon graduation:
- A professionally developed, living resume that can grow and adapt throughout their lifetimes in academia and beyond.
- At least one professional-level experience, most likely through internship, cooperative education or research, but also through volunteering and service learning.
- A basic understanding of professional etiquette including networking, job searching, interview preparation, interviewing skills, interviewing follow-up, and professional correspondence.
