If you are looking for an informal way to meet and greet students, share company information and/or giveaways and begin to brand your company into students’ minds, you might want to start with an Information Table in the Memorial Student Center. INFORMATION SESSIONS

A more formal way to share information about your company or a particular job opportunity is through a customized information session. This may be in the form of a scheduled and advertised open event at Career Services, a presentation to classes or student organizations, or an invitation only event to precede a scheduled day of on-campus interviews. This is a free service scheduled through Career Services by calling Debby Stoler at 304-696-6679 or Glen Midkiff at 304-696-3396.

ON-CAMPUS RECRUITING (OCR) EVENT

If you would like to conduct on-campus interviews or other on-campus recruiting events, we can customize a day for your company, including scheduling the room(s) and the interview times, advertising to students and graduates, formal luncheon or dinner occasions, and other individualized events. Please call Debby Stoler at 304-696-6679 for assistance in setting up the perfect recruiting event for your company. expo

CAREER EXPOS

Career Services sponsors three Career Expos each year; a Spring Career Expo in February, an Educator Expo in March and a Fall Career Expo in September. Registration is completed through your JobTrax account and an email notification is sent to all our JobTrax company contacts when registration opens for each Expo.

SPEAKER’S BUREAU

If you have a passion for a particular subject, such as time management, interviewing tips, negotiating and recognizing a good compensation package, etc., you may want to become part of our Speaker’s Bureau. We will be making this list available to university instructors, staff and student organizations as a tool to obtain speakers according to their needs. Simply send a brief bio of the presenter and an outline of the presentation to Debby Stoler at stolerd@marshall.edu. This is another good opportunity to get your company name in front of students.
