Part-Time & Student Job Opportunities
Student Employment, also known as Job Location & Development (JLD) is a federally funded service. The mission of JLD is to assist eligible students in locating employment and to promote self-help in educational financing, as well as to encourage a sense of personal achievement and the development of positive values.
Student Employment/JLD relies on local business and industry to recruit students, providing students with an income source which will help them complete their college education. JLD offers a resource pool to the Huntington Tri-state area for part-time and temporary employment.
Marshall University Career Services Center also provides the opportunity to post part-time job opportunities free of charge on our online database MARSHALL JOBTRAX. Organizations need to create an employer profile, then proceed with positing job opportunities.
You may also mail, fax, or e-mail your part-time opportunties by
completing and sending the Job Vacancy Form (PDF).
For additional questions or comments, please contact our JLD Coordinator, Amber Bentley at bentley@marshall.edu or 304-696-2370.
