Prepare to do your first internship during the summer between your freshman and sophomore years or early in your sophomore year.
Meet with your Internship Advisor at the Career Center to discuss the internship process, your school’s requirements, and what you would like to learn from your internship.
Search through the online listings on Marshall JOBTRAX (www.marshall.edu/career-services) to determine which place you would like to work.
Get involved in volunteer work or the off-campus Federal Work-study program.
Become involved in student organizations and work towards a leadership position.
