I wanted to let you know that the EASE job links are a definite help in a job search.  In February, I applied for a position with Chesapeake Energy Corporation.
Over the last two months, I have been in contact with this company and gone in for a day long interview.
Now, that was an experience!  Finally, I was offered a position as an Associate GeoTech in the Geoscience Division in Charleston.  This position is not the original position for which  I applied.  Actually, it is better.  I almost didn't apply for the original position because I did not have all of the qualifications described.  I am glad a friend encouraged me to do so.

I just wanted to thank you and the staff for all of your help.  All of you deserve credit for what you do.

Career services has a great support system for students success.  They assist students with practice interviews, resumes,cover letters, and career opportunities that will best fit their needs.  As a personal testimony, I recently accepted a position as an Admission Recruitment Counselorat Marshall University. Career services analyzed and offered suggestions to my resume and cover letter and provided me with a mock interview to be better prepare for the challenge.

I interviewed for the Territory Sales Manager position and even though they didn't think I had enough experience for that position they liked me enough to consider me for a Territory Sales Coordinator position. I interviewed for that position and they offered me the job on Friday. So, I just wanted to thank you for bringing the position to my attention and thinking of me when Ms. Pauley contacted you. I really appreciate the email and just wanted to respond to the e-mail to let you know that I am currently employed with my second teaching job since I left Marshall.  The first job was through the Ironton-Lawrence County Head Start.  I worked as a teacher, and then a home based services manager.  That job came courtesy of the career center.  I was sent an e-mail from the career center about the position, applied and was hired.  I worked there for three years. I actually moved out of the Huntington area a few months ago and I am employed with the Wyoming county school system as a title one teacher.  I found that job by calling to see what what open at the board office and bid on it.  
 
I am very greatful for the career center.  I think it is a great program and helped me a lot.  I utilized the career center a lot when I was looking for work.  I came in, got help creating a resume, printed many resumes on good paper (which was a great help, since I was a poor college student), and sent me notifications about jobs that I might be interested in.  I would highly recommend the career center for anyone in the area.Thanks for all of your help!

Yes!  Please continue to send me e-mails about career opportunities.I have found a job. A recruiter from the school district that I now work for came to Marshall for an Educational Career Day.  The recruiter is an alumnus of Marshall.  I am now employed by Lancaster County South Carolina Board of Education.  I am a Business Education teacher at a high school named Indian Land High School.  The school is located about 25 miles south of Charlotte.
