Marshall University is justifiably proud of the quality instruction and research in which faculty members engage. To recognize the exemplary achievements of the faculty in teaching, scholarship, and creative activities, the university and several important donors have established 4 annual faculty awards. These are:

 

• The Charles E. Hedrick Outstanding Faculty Award

• The Marshall and Shirley Reynolds Outstanding Teacher Award

• The Marshall University Distinguished Artists and Scholars Award (DASA)

• The Pickens-Queen Teaching Award

 

All these awards are competitive, and faculty committees commit serious consideration to the selection of recipients every year. The effort of these selection committees is appreciated by all who are involved, and the list of honorees is an ongoing testament to the dedicated work of the Marshall University faculty.
