Scholars” award and was initiated in 1999. The purpose of the DASA is
the recognition of exemplary productivity in research, scholarship,
and/or creative activities on the part of Marshall University faculty.
Each recipient receives $1,000.00, and each year there may be awards
honoring the work of junior faculty, senior faculty, and
teams/collaborators. All fields of scholarship and creative productions
are considered.
