Area of Focus
Developing research in this promotes ongoing improvement not only for the citizens of the State, but also the business community and the foundation of sound economic policy.

The Education and Health Program Area provides a variety of analyses with a focus on education, health and other related issues and opportunities. Continued study of education, health, poverty and other socioeconomic concerns has proven these factors to be strongly interconnected. An in depth understanding of these factors—and the subsequent economic, fiscal, policy and social aspects—are of vital importance to the future of the citizens of our region and beyond.

The Education and Health Program Area conducts both quantitative and qualitative research for clients on local, state, and regional levels. The Program has partnered with West Virginia Head Start, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services, the Perinatal Partnership and Vision Shared, and serves as a policy resource for the West Virginia Legislature. Among the Program’s many offerings are data and policy analysis, needs assessment and survey services. The Program’s long history demonstrates its ability to tailor each project to a client’s specific needs, while maintaining its commitment to providing solid, unbiased analysis and produce quality research.
