Gael Setliff began her career at Marshall University in 1985, first serving as secretary in the Lewis College of Business. Her first three years were spent advising students and serving as support staff for the associate dean before being promoted to Office Administrator where she worked directly for the Dean. During her tenure, she served with three separate deans. It was in this position that she became responsible for the oversight of budget activities for the CBER. Gael came to her current position when CBER became an entity separate from the College of Business. She is now involved with the administrative and budget activities.
Gael and her husband, Bill, have two daughters and four grandchildren and she spends most of her spare time attending the various youth sports games in which her grandchildren participate.
