CITE students in the pre-engineering program, or students in the graduate
Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology Management programs may be
eligible. There are other majors at Marshall eligible for this scholarship,
please read the description for details.
- NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program
The National Science Foundation has 900 research fellowships available for
graduate students in science, mathematics, and engineering. Awards are also
available for women in engineering and Information Science.
- Jackson and Kelly Fellowships for IS and TM graduate
students
The law firm of Jackson & Kelly has initiated a program with Marshall
University to encourage information technology professionals to remain in
the region and to further economic growth in the technology field. Under the
Jackson & Kelly fellows program, the law firm will fund one internship
per semester for a graduate student in an information technology related
degree program. The students selected for this program will be placed at
various internet businesses in the region.
Past program
participants have completed internships at several local companies.
Applications Gateway, IMEX, Inc., and Terradon Communications have each
hosted internships.
The Jackson & Kelly fellows program is a great opportunity for
students who need additional work experience or who wish to make valuable
business contacts in the area. If you are interested in the program, please
