Course
Description:
An introductory course in
safety and health principles that is designed to prepare students to manage,
supervise, coordinate, and evaluate safety and health problems in the
workplace.
Objectives:
Student will be able to: 1)
understand some fundamental concepts and terms in safety and health; 2)
appreciate the legal requirements that motivate safety; and 3) recognize,
evaluate and control the hazards present in the workplace.

Regular homework
assignment will be given to augment lecture material.
