Course Description:  A laboratory course designed to include the principles and applications of human factors/ergonomics that were introduced in SED 373.  Credit hour: 1

Prerequisites:   Must be taken concurrently with SED 373

Objectives:  Laboratory experiments relating to human factors/ergonomics.  This involves setting up the experiment, collect and analyze data, and reporting the results from the experiment.

Grading & Attendance:

Lab Experiments 1          10%

Lab Experiments 2-7       90% (15% each)

100-90              A

Students are required to submit a lab report for each lab, it must include an introduction, methods, results, and discussion & conclusion.  The lab reports will be due one to two weeks after it is assigned (see due dates on the next page). Punctuality and attendance in labs are mandatory.  Late lab reports will not be accepted! There will be no make-up labs (only under extreme case), so make sure you are there for the lab.  It is responsibility of the student to know the status of his/her grade throughout the semester.
