Course Description:

 

This course will introduce the student to the College of Information Technology and Engineering (CITE) and its various academic programs and administrative procedures. Students will be introduced to practical elements of their technical discipline and develop various skills to support and enhance their technical knowledge, including communication skills such as technical writing and presentations.

 

Grade Policy:

 

This course is graded on a credit/no credit basis. Students will receive credit for the course upon successful completion of all course assignments.

 

Class assignments, examinations, and participation:

 

Students are expected to read the assigned material prior to the lecture and to participate in class discussions. Homework is to be completed in a professional manner and submitted within the assigned deadline. If you can not attend a lecture to submit homework, you may fax or email the homework.

 

Students are encouraged to interact with each other to better understand the homework problems.

 

Attendance Policy:

 

Attendance is required and strongly recommended.
