We're having our eighth annual Exploring Engineering: Academy of Excellence (EEAE) this week. Thirty-six high school students from eight states are here on campus. They're building catapults, robots, and CO2 powered race cars, attending presentations, and visiting companies in the area that are engaged in engineering activities. The University's $3.5 million engineering lab, with 16,000 square feet of space for classrooms, offices, and lab environments, will be ready for the fall semester. The picture on the right was taken on June 20th. Some more pictures, including shots of the interior taken in early May, are available here.
Marshall University conducted its 171st Commencement on Saturday, May 10, 2008. CITE held an additional Graduation and Hooding Ceremony to recognize our graduates, followed by a reception. Congratulations to all our graduates! Browse the photographs taken during these events.
