Research interests:

Dr. Chen conducts research in the broad field of complex dynamical systems (mechanical, vehicular, mechatronic/micro-/nano-systems, structural).  He is interested in design, modeling, identification, monitoring and diagnosis. His expertise areas include dynamics, vibrations, acoustics and tribology.
