Transportation Engineering Courses
Available
Through Partnership with WVU
July 31, 2001
Under an agreement with WVU, students in Marshall’s Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) program now have the ability to pursue graduate study in transportation engineering topics. The collaborative effort, which began in January, has WVU offering transportation courses to MSE students through interactive video-link between Morgantown and Marshall's South Charleston campus.
As part of this program, a graduate-level course in Traffic Engineering Operations will be offered during the Fall, 2001, semester on Thursdays from 4:00-6:50 pm. Courses in Highway Planning and Design and in Highway Safety Engineering will be available in subsequent semesters.
CITE encourages current and new students who are interested in transportation engineering to pursue this new program. Students in the engineering management area of emphasis can use the three WVU courses to satisfy the three elective requirements. If you are interested, please contact the Associate Dean’s office in South Charleston at 304-746-2087 or send email to bdulin@marshall.edu.
