Many students completed their degree programs this semester and made their final project and thesis presentations. Here's a listing of the presenters and when they completed their work.

 

22-April

Ms. Amy McClure presented a project entitled "Business Plan and Feasibility Study of a Small Engineering Firm" at 9:00 a.m. in the Thomas Board Room on the third floor of the Graduate College building in South Charleston.

 

Mr. Michael Adkins presented a project entitled "Community in the Balance: Flooding of the Clear Fork Watershed." at 10:30 a.m. in the Thomas Board Room on the third floor of the Graduate College building in South Charleston.

 

24-April

Ms. Linda Tennant presented a project entitled "West Virginia's Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory: Emission Estimation for Methane and Nitrous Oxide Emissions From Stationary Combustion Sources" at 9:00 a.m. in the Thomas Board Room on the third floor of the Graduate College building in South Charleston.

 

26-April

Ms. Adena McClure presented her project entitled "Meal Service System - For Nursing Homes" at 10:30 a.m. in room 135 of the Graduate College building in South Charleston.

 

29-April

Mr. Michael Walker presented his project entitled "A Brief Investigation of One Company's Compliance with Section 112(r)(1) of the clean Air Act" at 10:00 a.m. in the GH112 Conference Room in the CITE Gullickson Hall offices.

 

Ms. Robin Clark presented her final project entitled "Training Data-Base for the United States Courts - Southern District of West Virginia" at 10:30 a.m. in room 1200 of the Robert C. Byrd Federal Building, 300 Virginia Street East, Charleston, WV.

 

01-May

Mr. John McClung presented his project entitled "An Analysis of alternative Air Pollution Control Equipment Performance For Metals Emission Reduction From A Hazardous Waste Incinerator Required to Comply With the Hazardous Waste Combustor MACT Rule" at 10:00 a.m. in the Thomas Board Room on the third floor of the Graduate College building in South Charleston.

 

Mr. Nathan Holder demonstrated his final project entitled "Southern West Virginia Community & Technical College Division of Allied Health Applicant Evaluation System." at 10:00 a.m. in room AC105 of the Graduate College building in South Charleston.

 

Mr. Richard Boehm presented his project entitled "A Gas Collection and Control System for Charleston Municipal Solid Waste Landfill." at 1:00 p.m. in the Thomas Board Room on the third floor of the Graduate College building in South Charleston.

Mr. Murray Tate, a Safety Technology Industrial Hygiene major, presented his thesis project entitled "A New Tool for Initial Indoor Air Quality Assessment" at 2:00 p.m. in the Safety Technology Lab located in the Communications Building room 212C.

Mr. Paul Farley presented his project entitled "Best Management Practices and Spill Prevention, Control and Containment for Automobile Salvage Facilities" at 1:00 p.m.  in the GH 112 Conference room in the CITE Gullickson Hall offices.

 

Mr. Daniel Mills presented a final project entitled "Disaster Entry System" at 10:00 a.m. in the Thomas Board Room on the third floor of the Graduate College building in South Charleston.
