CITE Delivers Graduate Courses Off-Site
CITE is offering selected graduate level courses through MU to some regional organizations and companies. The courses are taught on-site for the convenience of the students.
Graduate course locations currently include:

Alcon, Inc. northeast of Huntington

The National Mine Safety and Health Academy in Beaver, WV south of Beckley

Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, OH
Some of the graduate courses offered are Technology Management, Mine Safety, Environmental Science, and Industrial Safety. Course content is the same as that offered in University classes, but is delivered at a time and location more suitable for employees of the organizations.
Explaining some of the benefits of the courses for employees, Dr. Tony Szwilski, teaching TM 610, Strategic Management of Technology and Innovation at Alcon, Inc., said, "The students are working on their own case study. They have the opportunity to apply the concepts immediately to the workplace."
