CITE Student Recognized at WV Engineer's Banquet

Edward Stowasser, Pre-Engineering Sophmore, received two awards at the West Virginia Engineer's Banquet Tuesday, February 18, at the Charleston House Holiday Inn. He was named Marshall University Outstanding Pre-Engineering Student for the 2002-2003 School Year and received $500 from the ACEC/WV Scholarship Program. |

Ed is a graduate of Cabell Midland High School and has been a student in the Pre-Engineering program for the past two years. He is a co-op student at the US Army Corps of Engineers Huntington Branch and plans to transfer to WVU-Tech to complete a degree in Civil Engineering.
Ed's interest in Civil Engineering developed while he held a student intern position with the US Army Corps of Engineers. He would like to become a lead engineer or supervisor at the Corps. He is involved in many activities including Church Youth Leader, Walk for Autism, Relay for Life Cancer Walk, Phi Theta Kappa and Pi Mu Epsilon.
