Dr. Tony B. Szwilski named interim dean of CITE
Effective Tuesday, Aug. 1, Dr. Tony B. Szwilski
began serving as interim dean of Marshall University’s College of Information Technology and Engineering (CITE). Szwilski, who currently serves as Director of the Center for Environmental, Geotechnical and Applied Science (CEGAS), replaces Dr. Betsy Dulin, who is returning to the practice of law at Bowles Rice McDavid Graff and Love LLP at its Charleston office.
“Dr. Szwilski will provide strong leadership within our CITE program and will continue the good work of Dr. Dulin,” Marshall President Stephen J. Kopp said. “As we expand our engineering programs at both our Huntington and South Charleston campuses, we need a seamless transition, which Tony will provide. His acceptance of this new role will enable us to maintain our commitment to growing Marshall’s engineering programs.”
