If student has taken the complete sequence of Latin 101, 102, 203, and 204, 18 additional hours must be taken from the list of advanced courses which follows.  If any courses in this series are waived, the student must complete 18 hours plus the number of hours waived, chosen from among the list of advanced courses which follows.

CAPSTONE EXPERIENCE:
Latin majors are required to complete a senior portfolio which documents their work in all advanced Latin classes (above LAT 204). When they enroll in their final advanced Latin class (LAT 404, 408, 409, or 410), they must also enroll in Latin 499, the Latin Capstone Experience, the non-credit course in which they will complete this portfolio. The approval of this portfolio by the faculty of the Department of Classical Studies is required for graduation.
